PITMAN — The New Jersey Athletic Conference revealed its women’s swimming and diving weekly recognitions for the week concluding Jan. 19.
 


SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
KAITLYN CROUTHAMEL • Rowan University
Sophomore • North Cape May, NJ/Lower Cape May
 
Crouthamel secures her inaugural award and Rowan’s sixth NJAC Swimmer of the Week recognition. She triumphed in three individual competitions and assisted in a relay victory during Rowan’s success over TCNJ. Her personal achievements encompassed the 1650 freestyle (18:00.64), the 500 freestyle (5:14.39), and the 400 IM (4:37.80). Her 1650 freestyle ranks as the sixth-quickest in the NJAC this season, while her 500 freestyle stands 12th in the conference. Presently, she holds the second-fastest 400 IM time this year in the NJAC. Additionally, Crouthamel participated in the 400 freestyle relay team, recording a seasonal-best time of 3:43.24.
 
 
DIVER OF THE WEEK
OLIVIA MORRISON • William Paterson University
Freshman • Williamstown, NJ/Williamstown
 
Morrison has been honored as NJAC Diver of the Week for the second occasion this season. She commenced the week by achieving a score of 140.20 on the 1-meter board in a 67-39 home triumph against SUNY Delhi on Jan. 14. Following this, she secured first place on the 1-meter board with a score of 115.20 in a 107-33 win at Bard over the weekend.
 
 
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
SPERA MOY-JACOBS • University of Mary Washington
Freshman • Fairfax, VA/Robinson
 
Moy-Jacobs is the second UMW swimmer to receive the NJAC Rookie of the Week accolades this season following her two first-place finishes during a dual meet victory over Lynchburg. Moy-Jacobs clinched the 100-yard freestyle in 53.38 and the 50-yard freestyle in 24.59. She currently possesses the NJAC’s second-fastest time in the 100 freestyle this season and the third-fastest in the 50 freestyle.
