Gotham FC Unveils Thrilling 2025 NWSL Season Lineup!

HARRISON, NJ (Wednesday, January 22, 2025)—Today, Gotham FC along with the National Women’s Soccer League revealed the club’s 2025 regular season timetable, which includes 13 home and 13 away contests.

The season commences on the West Coast, with Gotham FC going up against the Seattle Reign at Lumen Field on Saturday, March 15 (10:00 p.m. ET, ION).

The squad will return to the welcoming grounds of Sports Illustrated Stadium shortly after on Sunday, March 23 for their home debut against the current NWSL Champions, Orlando Pride (5:00 p.m. ET, ESPN 2), in what is expected to be an exhilarating matchup.

This season sees the return of NWSL Decision Day. On Sunday, November 2, marking the final day of the regular season, Gotham FC will compete against the North Carolina Courage at First Horizon Stadium (Time and Network TBD).

From now on, fans can reserve seats for the premier games at the best rates by acquiring a three-match pack, half-season membership, or a full-season membership. Single-match tickets will go on sale early next week.

2025 GOTHAM FC SCHEDULE HIGHLIGHTS

Key Matches:

• The 2025 home opener at Sports Illustrated Stadium is scheduled for 5 p.m. Sunday, March 23, where Gotham will welcome the reigning league champion Orlando Pride in a matchup broadcast nationwide on ESPN2.
• On Saturday, August 9, Gotham FC will aim for retribution when they take on Trinity Rodman and the Washington Spirit in a rematch of the 2024 NWSL Semifinals (12:00 p.m. ET, ESPN).
• Having been eliminated by Gotham FC in the NWSL Quarterfinals last season, Sophia Smith and the Portland Thorns will travel to Sports Illustrated Stadium for a crucial contest on Friday, September 26 (8:00 p.m. ET, NWSL+).

Broadcast:

• 16 Gotham FC matches will be broadcasted nationally this season.
• Four of Gotham FC’s matches will be shown across the ESPN family of networks.
• Additionally, four matches will be aired on CBS, including three on the CBS Broadcast Network and one on CBS Sports Network.
• Another four Gotham FC matches will be available on Prime Video.
• Four matches will also be featured on the Scripps-owned ION network, including the first regular season match for Gotham FC.

League Breaks:

• Gotham FC will pause NWSL play during the weekend of May 23-25, as the club begins taking part in the CONCACAF W Champions Cup Finals Stage on May 22.
• The NWSL will observe the league break mandated by the CBA from June 23-29, along with the entirety of July, due to confederation competitions (UEFA Women’s EURO, Copa America Femenina, etc.). During this hiatus, NWSL clubs will partake in matches against other professional women’s teams, including international rivals.

Playoffs:

• After the regular season concludes, eight clubs will qualify for the 2025 NWSL Playoffs presented by Google Pixel.
• The quarterfinals will occur during the weekend of November 7-9, preceding the semifinals scheduled for the weekend of November 14-16.
• The 2025 NWSL Championship presented by Google Pixel is set for November 22, and the venue is yet to be confirmed.
