Hollie Bowden Teams Up with Cesca Dvorak to Unveil an Enchanting New Blanket Collection

The interior designer from London is known for crafting environments rich in character and elegance. Her newest partnership with artist Cesca Dvorak reflects the same humor and narrative depth as her interior designs

Hollie Bowden, a London-based interior designer who founded her namesake studio in 2013, has collaborated with artist Cesca Dvorak to develop a limited collection of blankets. Reflecting the same cleverness and flair of Bowden’s home projects, the collection showcases striking designs and creative narratives, drawing from Hollie’s rich inventory of artifacts and inspirations.

Accumulated through years of artistic endeavor, the duo has fashioned a dream-like setting inspired by Dvorak’s lively block prints, collages, ink artwork, and fabric creations. Featuring three distinct designs – Fireplace, Mirror, and Tiger’s Eye – each showcases elaborate patterns drawn from Bowden’s extensive reference archive and Dvorak’s colorful, story-driven illustrations.

While the Fireplace, featuring deep green and delicate yellow, is influenced by the lively hues present in Mexican design and architecture, which is a significant source of inspiration for Hollie’s creations, Mirror incorporates soft blues and rich browns, as well as Cesca’s reinterpretation of images depicting interior staircases. The abstract piece, Tiger’s Eye, originally conceived as a brush and ink artwork, showcases light yellows and browns, reflecting the motifs of animal markings and natural wood patterns.

Produced by a traditional mill in Lancashire, the blankets prioritize sustainability, utilizing 75% recycled cotton along with 25% recycled fibers. They are gentle to the touch and skillfully handcrafted with striking, geometric designs made to endure.
