In one week, Northborough-Southborough Public Schools will implement early dismissals for the Lunar New Year’s Wellness Day. To assist Southborough families in maximizing this opportunity, Trottier SOS has arranged a “Southborough Schools FUN DAY”.
The fundraising initiative encourages the community to take advantage of a discounted bundle of activities at Apex Entertainment in Marlborough. The advantage is that a percentage of the payment will be contributed to Trottier SOS.
Participants can obtain a $20 per person package (with $5 of that directed to Trottier SOS). This covers:
- One Round of Laser Tag
- Bumper Cars
- Mini Golf
- One 30-minute Non-Redemption Arcade Card
- Free bowling shoe rental (Additional charge for bowling lanes)
- Additionally, for an extra $5, you can choose either a Kids Pizza or Chicken Tender Meal
If you intend to utilize the Bowling shoes, I suggest reserving a Bowling Lane ahead of time. (You can schedule that here.)
It’s important to note that some Trottier families might have already enrolled their children in SYFS’ program “Snacks & Relax,” which is also set for the half day.
The positive aspect is that while SYFS’ program coincides (11:00 am – 1:00 pm), it still allows another 3 hours to benefit from SOS’ fundraising event. (It’s also notable that it appears they may have prolonged the registration deadline, although it remains limited to the first 30 kids to sign up. I’m verifying the situation. In the meantime, there’s no harm in attempting to register!)
