DOOM: The Dark Ages’ launch date has been disclosed and it is set to debut on May 15, 2025.
This information comes from an article posted by Gamekult (which has since been taken down), which seemingly released confidential details before the Xbox developer Direct event.
Insider Gaming is aware that select outlets will preview DOOM: The Dark Ages prior to the official reveal.
The Xbox Developer Direct is scheduled for January 23rd, which will be a rather busy day in the gaming community, as previews for Assassin’s Creed Shadows are also expected to be released on the same day.
As previously confirmed by Xbox, three titles; DOOM: The Dark Ages, South of Midnight, and Expedition 33 are planned to receive “in-depth” showcases; meanwhile, Xbox has hinted at a fourth title, about which we revealed gossip in the latest Insider Gaming Newsletter (sign up below).
In addition to the announcements of the four games, several other surprises are likely to be unveiled during the event or in the ensuing days, according to Insider Gaming.
“You are the DOOM Slayer, the iconic demon-slaying hero and the ultimate weapon in this previously unseen dark and nefarious medieval conflict against Hell,” reads the official DOOM: The Dark Ages description.
