Malcolm-Jamal Warner was reportedly swimming along with his 8-year-old daughter when he by accident drowned throughout their Costa Rica trip.

Surfers jumped into motion to avoid wasting the “Cosby Show” actor and his daughter on Monday after they seen the pair struggling towards the present, per ABC News.

One surfer managed to avoid wasting Warner’s daughter by bringing her again to security on his surfboard. Warner was pulled again to shore by a volunteer lifeguard and one other surfer earlier than he was given 45 minutes of CPR.

However, their efforts would show to be too late. As we beforehand reported, Warner was pronounced useless on the scene by authorities. He was 54.

His official explanation for demise was listed as asphyxiation by “submersion,” based on police.

The father and daughter had been swimming close to Cocles, a seaside in Limon, Costa Rica, once they received caught up in a rip present.

However, he did reveal his daughter’s birthday in an Instagram clip shared on May 14 — months earlier than his tragic passing.

“Just wanted to remind you as I remind myself that no matter what’s going on, there’s always a reason to smile,” he instructed his followers on the time.

He wore a Dodgers baseball cap and had a flower in his ear that was gifted to him by his daughter within the clip.

Warner’s demise despatched shockwaves via Hollywood, prompting many celebrities — together with his former co-star Raven Symoné — to share touching tributes to the late actor.

“Words cannot express the pain and sadness and surprise that I feel with the recent loss of MJW,” Symoné, who performed Olivia Kendall on “The Cosby Show,” mentioned on Instagram Tuesday.

“He was the big brother, he was a beacon, he was one of the most multifaceted, talented men — so gentle,” she continued. “And my heart and soul and hugs and kisses go out to his daughter and his wife and his mother.”
