Girls’s Swimming and Diving’s Janmyr, Iannaccone to Compete at World Aquatics Championships – Singapore 2025

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Women’s Swimming and Diving’s Nina Janmyr and Stephanie Iannaccone are set to compete on the World Aquatics Championships – Singapore 2025.
 
Janmyr, representing Sweden, is scheduled to carry out on the 1- and 3-meter springboards. The 1-meter preliminaries are set for Friday, July 25, with the finals slated for Saturday, July 26. The 3-meter competitors, in the meantime, will get underway on Thursday, July 31, with the semifinals and finals being contested on Saturday, Aug. 2.
 
Iannaccone, considered one of three group captains for 2025-26, will swim for Guatemala. The rising junior will start her time in Singapore on July 26, with the prelims of the 200-meter medley. The semifinals and finals are scheduled for July 27 and 28, respectively. Iannaccone will then return to the pool deck on July 28, for the prelims of the 200-meter breaststroke, with the semis and finals locked in for the subsequent two days (July 31, Aug. 1).
 
The duo was a part of a 2024-25 Harvard group that went undefeated in dual-meet motion, posting a 10-0 file (7-0 Ivy League) for the primary time since 2005-06, and captured the Ivy dual-meet crown within the course of, a feat that had not been achieved since 2015. Harvard additionally swept HYP for the primary time since 2014, and despatched a number of athletes to the NCAA Championship, extending its streak to 13 straight years of showing on the nationwide meet.
