“I knew that I never wanted a nine-to-five job,” she says. “Photography was the first thing I was good at. I started taking pictures just for fun and then people started asking how they could pay me. And I thought, ‘I can’t believe that you’re paying me to do what I love.’”

“Make connections and friendships,” she says. “You never know who you’re going to talk to that’s going to get you your next thing. And I don’t mean you should be fake nice. You should genuinely create connections and just do it for the love of it.”
