Baker added that the Fun Fair story that made her really feel probably the most “warm and fuzzy” was from a West Virginia Department of Corrections inmate who helped arrange on the honest one yr.

“There was a younger prisoner, he was most likely not even 30, that got here as much as me and stated, ‘I was one of 10 kids, and if I had something like this growing up and been prepared for school, I probably would not be wearing this uniform,’” Baker said. “Stories like that keep me doing this, especially the day after the fair when I’m drained and never feeling very heat or fuzzy.”
