James William Christensen – Duluth Information Tribune

With Heavy hearts, we announce the passing of James William Christensen a lifetime resident of Duluth MN. 
Jim handed peacefully on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 whereas within the care of the Benedictine Health Center.
Jim was born in Superior, WI to Lucille and Leslie Christensen. Jim is preceded in demise by his dad and mom and sister, Lorraine Guenther.
Jim leaves behind his spouse, Regina Collins Christensen, and his kids Lisa Tormondsen, Kevin (Erin) Christensen, Eric (Monica) Christensen, and Tom (Kari) Christensen, his loving grandchildren, Olivia, Cambelle, Kennedy, Everly, Stella, Jack, Elsa, Addie, and Mira; together with two siblings, Larry (Patty) Christensen and Jeanette (Bob) Martimo, in addition to prolonged relations, nieces, nephews, nice nieces, nice nephews who will miss him profoundly. 
Jim was an Environmental Safety Manager for LaBounty Manufacturing in Two Harbors MN and retired in 2008.
Jim had a broad vary of curiosity which included being an newbie ham radio operator since 1982, an avid climate researcher/observer, an avid UMD hockey and Vikings soccer fan. His biggest curiosity was images. He liked being out in nature and photographing wildlife, which many can attest to his completed talent in images. 
Jim had an immense presence; he was a form man to all and a pal to many. As we transfer ahead, we take consolation in figuring out that Jim is now not in bodily ache. Jim’s legacy might be everlasting within the hearts of these he liked and the various reminiscences of Jim we’ll cherish without end.
The household wish to take this chance to thank the third flooring, Benedictine Health Center workers and the Essentia Hospice workers for his or her compassionate care of Jim.  
A memorial service might be held  on the Cremation Society of Minnesota, Grand Ave. in Duluth on Friday, August 15, 2:00 p.m. Visitation. 3:00p.m. Remembrance time.
In lieu of flowers, donations could be made to  St. Jude’s Cancer Research for Children (Jim’s) favourite charity or a charity of your alternative.
