Submit outdated/defunct gaming media protection you used to take pleasure in

I used to be reminded of Rev3 video games for some purpose at present. Which was a decade lengthy lifeless gaming outlet that reviewed and coated video games pretty properly in video for the time.

But going back to look at old videos I’m reminded of Max Scoville, who I actually first encountered from the Destructoid show, and even older gaming news coverage show destructoid used to run. I even remember hearing him on old episodes of the Geekbox podcast. Somehow, I’ve been following this man’s work for over a decade.

Then I was reminded of Good game, an Australian games show that was simple but fun for it’s time.

Last one was more recent but a podcast I loved was the “Let’s Fight a Boss” podcast that ended early 2023.

All of this is dead media that I gave tons of my attention to once upon a time. I know if they’re worth looking at now besides from an academic/preservation perspective. But it is interesting that a lot of people will go on never even knowing these existed. Some not defuct shows/podcasts are still running but work almost entirely differently than they did 10 years ago, like the IGN podcats.

So, let’s reminisce and post old (or not that old) games media we enjoyed once upon a time.
