2025 Photography Exhibition Guidelines

Deadline to enter is Wednesday, September 24, 2025

Work have to be registered on-line by the deadline. No registration at drop off.

Eligibility

• All ages and ability ranges of photographers are welcome.
• The photographer have to be the only creator of the {photograph}.
• AI (Artificial Intelligence) created or closely edited work is NOT accepted.
• Photographers should stay inside a 30-mile radius of Lewisburg.

Requirements

• Largest measurement: Photos have to be framed. Frame sizes as much as 12”x16” interior dimension (portrait or panorama) and 12”x12” (sq.) are acceptable.
• Mounting: All entries needs to be framed and wired (no noticed tooth hangers) for hanging. White mat and black body most well-liked. Black mats or no mats additionally acceptable. Prints on canvas, wooden, steel or different substrates are usually not allowed.
• Wire hangers shouldn’t be seen when hung.

Levels

• Age Groups: Adult: 18 and older, Youth: 13 – 17, and Children: 12 and youthful.

  • Artistic/Abstract

Category Descriptions

Black and White: Photographs introduced in black and white. Images ought to depend on gentle, shadow, and distinction relatively than colour.

Nature: Photographs of the pure world, together with landscapes, wildlife, vegetation, and climate. No human parts needs to be seen.

Lifestyle: Photographs that depict folks, each day actions, or cultural moments. Can be candid or posed, with a concentrate on storytelling.

Registration, Delivery, and Pick-up

• Adults: $10 non-refundable entry charge per {photograph} as much as (3) pictures.
• Children beneath age 18: $5 for every submitted {photograph} as much as (3) pictures.
• All work have to be registered on-line by the deadline of September 24, 2025. No registration at drop off.
• Works have to be hand-delivered to the Gallery at 15 N Water Street, Lewisburg, PA on Saturday, September 27 from 10am-12pm or Monday, September 29 from 6-8pm.
• Please obtain and print the registration type and labels and repair label/s to the again of your work previous to dropping them off.
• Pick up pictures from the Gallery at 15 N Water St, Lewisburg, PA on Sunday, October 26 from 10am-12pm or Monday, October 27 from 6-8pm. All pictures MUST be eliminated inside this timeframe. The Lewisburg Arts Council won’t assume accountability for any works not picked up.

Judging and Awards

• A panel of regional photographers will decide pictures.
• The Lewisburg Arts Council reserves the fitting to reject entries which can be deemed inappropriate for the Exhibition.
• Cash prizes shall be awarded for Best of Show and 1st and 2nd place in every age group/class.
• Ribbons shall be awarded to third place in every class and Judges’ Choice.
