WSR Editor’s be aware: We thought it becoming to finish Throwback Thursday with the photographer’s favourite images from the a whole bunch and a whole bunch that ran within the collection over the previous yr. So we requested Stephen Harmon to ship us his high picks.

It has been my honor and pleasure to have West Side Rag publish my images of the Upper West Side folks, streets, companies, and storefronts that I liked from these fantastic now-vanished days of the Seventies and 80s.

I thank all of you who checked out them and particularly these of you who made optimistic and type feedback concerning the images. Many folks have requested me if I’ve favourite images from these bygone days. Of course I liked all of them and it’s virtually unattainable to edit them down to some, however I’ve tried and right here they’re — fairly a couple of greater than my editor anticipated! As all the time, I hope you discover one thing to get pleasure from.

I bid you a fond farewell and hope to see you on the streets of immediately’s UWS.  I’ll have an enormous Nikon digicam round my neck.
