He drowned in a pool on his third birthday.
Holly Wyatt is working to ensure that what occurred to her son doesn’t occur to anybody else.
She is partnering with the Decatur-Morgan Hospital Foundation to create a fund that may pay at no cost swimming classes for kids in Morgan County.
The fund is named Drake’s Fund.
Wyatt mentioned she’ll always remember November 27, 2009.
“It’s just a day that’s forever ingrained in my mind,” mentioned Wyatt. ”The emotions and the sounds, the visuals of simply them bringing my son out to the ambulance.”
Wyatt is a nurse at Decatur Morgan-Hospital.
Her son, Drake, drowned throughout his third birthday celebration on November 27, 2009.
