Rachel Hall images present | Westport Journal

WESTPORT — A collection of Rachel Hall’s images are on show by means of August 31 on the Westport Book Shop.

The pictures within the present are all of native scenes. They “offer a visual narrative deeply connected to the surrounding environment,” based on the press launch asserting the occasion. 

Hall is a detective with the Westport Police Department. Her vocation and avocation aren’t as far aside as many individuals suppose. 

“When it comes to being a detective, the truth is always there but it is being hidden and it is my job to find it,” Hall stated in an e mail. “This in a lot of ways mirrors photography.  The photos I take are what we as detectives call ‘in plain view;’  it is just a matter of how you look at it, when to pause, and where to focus.”

The artwork exhibit is open to the general public in the course of the Book Shop’s common enterprise hours. All images on show have been produced in restricted portions, and can be found for buy.
