Apple sues Apple Cinemas over identify as theater chain plans growth

The cinema even has an Apple-shaped brand, maybe including to the similarities.

Apple Cinemas didn’t reply to our request for remark.

And in authorized filings, Apple says the theater chain didn’t reply to a stop and desist letter.

So now the combat strikes to the courts. And as authorized specialists level out, Apple has very deep pockets.

“So for Apple, they’ve said, look, we’ve warned you don’t do this, and Apple Cinemas continued and so now this is going to play out in a very ugly and expensive fight in federal court,” says Clark.

Apple Cinemas’ San Francisco location opened in July and has plans to open a Danville location by the tip of the yr or early subsequent yr.
