Horned Frogs Fill Up Academic All-Big 12 Teams

FORT WORTH – A total of 98 TCU student-athletes were named to the 2025 Spring Academic All-Big 12 and 2024-25 Academic All-Big 12 Rookie teams.

 

The Horned Frogs placed 49 student-athletes on the Spring Academic All-Big 12 Team while an equal number earned Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team honors.

 

To qualify for the Academic All-Big 12 Team, student-athletes must possess a grade point average of 3.20 or higher, either cumulatively or from the two previous semesters, and have participated in a minimum of 20 percent of their team’s scheduled contests.

 

The Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team recognizes first-time student-athletes and incoming freshmen who achieved a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0. Additionally, student-athletes must have participated in at least one of their team’s scheduled contests and been a member of their respective team for their sport’s entire NCAA Championship segment.
