A brand new photographic exhibit that includes artist Janna Carter is coming to the MCC Center for Arts and Community Enrichment (CACE).
The exhibit can be on show from Aug. 21 via Sept. 18, on the CACE Gallery of Fine Art, situated at 300 Main Street, Fort Morgan. The exhibit is free and open to the general public Mondays via Thursdays, 8 a.m. to five p.m.
Carter, an achieved artist with a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Integrated Design, brings a richly layered perspective to her images. Her work showcases hanging pictures of buildings and public areas, revealing surprising magnificence within the often-overlooked locations. Through her lens, on a regular basis objects and scenes develop into topics of quiet marvel and creative exploration.
“My photography is pure realism,” Carter shared. “What makes it unique is how I see objects — the angles, composition, and perspective. I want viewers to experience the details they might otherwise miss, and maybe even see the world a little differently.”
Carter’s vibrant imagery gives a considerate reflection on modern life. Her pictures take the peculiar and make it really feel outstanding, encouraging the viewer to pause and see issues from a unique perspective.
“Ms. Carter’s exhibit is the first one for the CACE 2025/2026 Season,” CACE Coordinator Suzanna Spears mentioned. “We are privileged to be able to share these extraordinary works with the community. Don’t miss this unique set of works.”
The exhibit is a part of MCC CACE’s ongoing mission to deliver enriching cultural alternatives to the neighborhood. CACE gives a wide range of free occasions and programming all year long.
