New building initiatives to have an effect on journey in Omaha metro

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – There are a number of new street initiatives within the Omaha metro beginning up Monday that may affect drivers.

There is a ramp closure from I-480 northbound to Harney Street that began at 9 a.m. Monday.

Officials anticipate the ramp will probably be closed into mid October as work continues to exchange the bridge over the interstate, in addition to work on the Omaha streetcar.
