Cross Country Proclaims 2025 Schedule

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane University 2025 cross nation schedule is formally set with the Green Wave competing in 4 common season meets this fall Director of Cross Country/Track & Field Adrian Myers introduced.

“This year our program has a lot of new faces in play, but we have same ambitions,” Coach Myers stated. “We want to every year compete for American titles and toe the line at the National Championships in November. With a fairly new set of faces on the roster we have a little thinner race schedule to ensure enough preparation time for the championship portion of the season.”

 

The Wave will open the 2025 marketing campaign on Friday, August 29, internet hosting the Battle of New Orleans at Lake Oaks Park.

 

“This schedule will continue to open at home with the “Battle for New Orleans” in front of the Tulane faithful,” Myers defined. “What’s special about that as well is that our home course will be host site for the 2026 American Cross Country Championships. So, we invite everyone to come check it out and familiarize yourself with our course and the sport! After that, all our competitions provide an elite opportunity to go head-to-head with the top programs in the country.”

 

In the month of September Tulane will hit the street for the Gans Creek Classic hosted by the University of Missouri. The meet shall be held on the Gans Creek Cross Country Course on Friday, September 26.

 

The Green Wave will shut out the common season with a pair of meets in October. Tulane will make the journey to Fayetteville, Arkansas, for the Chile Pepper Festival at Agri Park on Saturday, October 4. The last meet of the common season for the Wave would be the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational on Friday, October 17 in Madison, Wisconsin.

 

The 2025 postseason will begin with The American Conference Championship in Concord, North Carolina, on Saturday, November 1. Tulane will goal to defend its males’s title from final season whereas the ladies will look to say their second championship in three years. The championship meet shall be hosted by Charlotte at Frank Liske Park.

“Iron sharpens iron and that is what we want so that come championship season, we are as prepared as possible to meet our standard of championships and continuing to collect our respect on the national stage,” Myers said.

 

The NCAA South Central Regional will happen in Fayetteville, Arkansas, on Friday, November 14, whereas the NCAA National Championships shall be held the next week in Columbia, Missouri, on Saturday, November 22.
