Investigation underway after worker drowns at Camp Halfmoon swimming space

Massachusetts (WRGB) — A 21-year-old worker of the Camp Kimama Halfmoon kitchen drowned in Massachusetts’s Lake Buel Sunday.

According to police, Miguel Rodriguez Perez, 21, a Mexican nationwide, drowned in Lake Buel Sunday afternoon whereas swimming with two coworkers within the camp’s swimming space of Lake Buel.

While swimming from an inflatable water construction to the dock, Rodriguez Perez reportedly slipped beneath the floor about midway into the swim.

The distance between the inflatable to the dock is roughly 20 to 25 toes and the water the place he slipped beneath the floor is roughly 6 to eight toes deep.
