Man drowns swimming in Lake Ontario close to SUNY Oswego

Oswego, N.Y. – A 76-year-old swimmer was discovered lifeless in Lake Ontario within the city of Oswego on Tuesday night time, deputies mentioned.

Deputies have been dispatched to the shore of Lake Ontario west of the SUNY Oswego Campus off Route 89 round 9:31 p.m. for a report of a person within the water, in line with a information launch from the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office.
