Kristin Walker Joins Florida Swimming & Diving as Associate Head Coach

GAINESVILLE, Fla. –Florida’s swimming & diving coach Anthony Nesty introduced the addition of Kristin Walker because the Gators Associate Head Coach.


Walker served as Associate Head Coach and Women’s Recruiting Coordinator for the University of Wyoming Swimming & Diving program for the final six seasons.

During her time at Wyoming, Walker recruited and coached 11 Mountain West and WAC Conference champions throughout each males’s and girls’s applications, together with standouts Tara Joyce and Maisyn Klimczak. Before her time in Laramie, Walker spent three seasons as an assistant coach at Georgia Southern, the place she managed recruiting efforts, coordinating journey and managing coaching plans. A breaststroker, Walker was awarded Most Improved Athlete in 2014, and voted Most Inspirational Athlete in 2016. Additionally, she broke the UNM college report within the 200 yard breaststroke. 

From Colorado Springs, Colo, she earned her grasp’s diploma at Georgia Southern in Special Education.
