Mr. D’s Opens in Sartell, Serving Up Household Enjoyable and Elevated Pub Fare

(KNSI) – Sartell welcomed a brand new eating vacation spot on Wednesday as Mr. D’s formally opened its doorways with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, promising to fill a necessity for household leisure and eating.

Co-owner Kenny Dumpprope and his spouse Amber informed KNSI News they’ve been working towards this dream for over 5 years, “My wife and I have always wanted to own our own business. I always wanted to work for myself, too. I’m a really hard worker, Amber’s a really hard worker, and we just wanted to work as hard as we can and build something together.”

Kenny calls their menu “higher-end pub” meals that’s family-oriented. “This is going to be a place that everyone can come, no matter the age group. You can be older. You can be super young. We have something for everybody here. The flavors of our dishes are designed in a way that it attracts a wide range of people.”

The menu options handcrafted dishes made with recent substances similar to Braveheart Angus Beef, and Red Dragon Cheese, which they use to make burgers, hen wraps, paninis, salads and extra.

The basis of Mr. D’s rests on a workforce with deep culinary credentials. Amber used to work with Le Cordon Bleu-trained chef Mike Pepin, who has been tapped to run the kitchen and brings over 30 years of restaurant expertise. Sous-chef Derek Thielen rounds out the core workforce.

What units Mr. D’s aside is that the restaurant options arcade video games appropriate for youngsters, youngsters, and adults.

The restaurant’s identify comes from the primary letter within the household surname, Dumpprope, with Amber suggesting “Mr. D’s” as the right moniker for his or her enterprise.

Mr. D’s is located at 1001 2nd Street South in Sartell.
