Saint Francis girls’s soccer head coach Brian Diaz has introduced the addition of Claire Crossley as an assistant coach to his workers and the addition of Ioannis Giannikakis as a graduate assistant for the Red Flash.

Crossley involves Loretto after serving as an assistant coach at fellow Northeast Conference member Mercyhurst final season. She additionally gained teaching expertise as an assistant coach for the final two years with Erie FC at the highschool stage as an assistant coach and grades three to eight.

“We are very excited to have Clare joining our staff,” stated Diaz. “She is an enthusiastic young coach who is eager to develop into a top coach. A 2023 graduate of Pennsylvania Western University, she served as crew captain for her final two seasons. A scholar-athlete all 4 years, she was voted because the crew’s Rookie of the Year (2019), Hustler of the Year (2022) and Team and Defensive MVP (2023).

Crossley graduated with a enterprise administration diploma from Pennsylvania Western University in 2023 and earned her Masters from her alma mater in 2024, additionally in enterprise administration and a finance focus. 

Giannikakis, who will work with each males’s and ladies’s soccer as a graduate assistant, completed his collegiate profession at Franklin Pierce for his final two seasons.
