TORA Member Highlight: Nic Brooks of Adventure Lifestyle

The SEMA Truck & Off-Road Alliance (TORA) named Nic Brooks, director at Adventure Lifestyle, because the council’s latest highlight member. Get to know Brooks in his interview with SEMA News beneath. 

SEMA News: What impressed you to pursue a profession within the truck and off-road business? 

Nic Brooks: I’ve all the time had a ardour for autos and the way they work, particularly in demanding environments like off-road terrain. What actually impressed me to pursue a profession within the truck and off-road business was the group and tradition surrounding it, which consists of people that worth exhausting work, dependability and pushing limits. It’s an business the place sensible engineering meets journey, and that mixture actually motivates me to be a part of it and contribute to its development.

SN: Why did you resolve to volunteer for TORA?

NB: As a present TORA member, Adventure Lifestyle is proud to strongly help the group. Both TORA and Adventure Lifestyle share widespread goals–raising business requirements and serving to form the way forward for the off-road and truck-accessory markets. Additionally, I’d be personally involved in volunteering to function a member-at-large.  

SN: What recommendation do you will have for somebody pursuing a profession within the automotive aftermarket? 

NB: When you are captivated with one thing, pursue it relentlessly with every part you will have. Put your coronary heart into it, and attempt to raise not simply your self, however every part and everybody round you.

SN: What is your dream truck or off-road car?  

NB: I’ve a deep ardour and real love for overlanding. Given that, my superb setup can be a brand new mannequin Land Cruiser outfitted for overlanding. A conscious setup that balances reliability, functionality and luxury for long-haul adventures. Right now, my each day driver is a Ford Super Duty diesel.
