A search is underway to discover a boy who’s believed to have been final seen in a river in Yorkshire on Saturday night.
North Yorkshire Police is working alongside North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue and specialist search and rescue groups to search for the 12-year-old after stories have been obtained that he went lacking within the water in Richmond, close to Darlington, at 5pm.
Local stories say the groups are specializing in an space round Richmond Falls, which is a collection of waterfalls alongside the River Swale.
The customer attraction has a parking lot and cafe, and is fashionable on summer time days.
In a press release, a spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police mentioned: “At 5pm today (Saturday) we received reports that a 12-year-old boy had entered the river in Richmond and not been seen since.
“We deployed officers who’ve carried out intensive searches alongside underwater search groups and specialist search and rescue groups. Emergency providers stay on the scene whereas the searches proceed.”
A put up on social media by the pressure attracted feedback from individuals sharing hope the boy will probably be discovered.
