DVIDS – News – Fort Knox DFMWR makes a splash with annual H2O Fun Run

FORT KNOX, Ky. — Three thousand water balloons, six inflatable swimming pools, a low-crawl foam pit and water gun impediment course later… group members left Kilianski Sports Complex slightly soggy after the annual Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation H2O Fun Run, Aug. 16.

Participants got water balloons at the beginning line to kick the race off with a splash. The occasion additionally featured a number of sprinkler programs and volunteers with water weapons and balloons sustaining a gradual circulate of H2O to maintain contributors cool alongside the route.

The run was restricted to 60 minutes and contributors have been allowed to run as many laps as they wished.
