Harwood XC extends summer time Fun Runs — Waterbury Roundabout

Due to standard demand, Harwood Cross Country will add yet another date to its summer time Fun Run schedule, with the ultimate one set for Monday, Aug. 25.

Here are the outcomes from the run final Monday, Aug. 11, on the shady trails at Harwood. This week’s enjoyable run is about for Monday night time, Aug. 18, at 6 p.m.

Last week, 15 runners participated within the Monday Fun Run. Jake Pitman of Duxbury completed first within the 5K with a time of 21:29, adopted by Patrick Hamel of Duxbury at 21:40, Kevin McElroy of Duxbury at 23:39, Vince Wing of Waterbury Center at 24:42, Serena Wilcox of Duxbury at 25:17, Celia Wing of Waterbury Center at 26:11, Matheo Semmelroth of Duxbury at 26:11, Beckett McElroy of Duxbury at 27:57, Pippa Diller of Waterbury at 28:49, Andy Metcalf of Duxbury at 29:12, Alison Migonis of Waterbury at at 29:13, Colin Smith of Duxbury at 30:45, Tim Smith of Duxbury at 30:59, and Emilie Diller of Waterbury at 32:47. Jackson Migonis of Waterbury was the only 3K runner.
Tonight’s registration begins at 6 p.m. The Kids Race is first at 6:15, adopted by the 3K/5K.

Entry charge is $5 per runner, with no cost for teenagers age 6 and beneath. Proceeds profit the Harwood Union High School Cross Country crew’s journey to Belfast, Maine, to compete within the Maine Festival of Champions this fall.

Next week’s Fun Run at 6 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 25, would be the remaining one for this summer time.
