Uniquely, there are some moments that remind me why I really like being a photographer—and Justin’s sundown shock proposal to Ariel on the Maui Four Seasons Resort in Wailea, was a type of unforgettable ones.

To start, it was a golden afternoon on the Maui Four Seasons Resort. The sundown was setting with delicate waves crashing, and a pleasant cool breeze within the air. Patiently ready, I stood again with my digital camera, mixing into the background. Being current is essential so as put together for Justin to pop the query. I may see Ariel laughing as Justin was playful. Then, with out warning, he dropped to at least one knee.

Indeed, Ariel’s response was priceless—complete shock, comfortable disbelief, and pure pleasure. Certainly, it was a real, emotional second that I felt honored to witness (and seize!).
