Plymouth-based photographer Mark ‘Taffy’ Humphreys-Turner is the founding father of the Veterans in Focus challenge paying tribute to veterans from all walks of life.
His intention is to create a digital archive, combining visible portraits with private tales, as a residing file of those that served their nation.

Mark joined the Army in 1979. He first served with the 2nd Battalion, the Parachute Regiment (2 PARA). His first style of battle got here through the Falklands War in 1982.
After a critical knee damage ended his time with the Paras, he transferred to the Royal Welsh Fusiliers and continued to serve on operational excursions in Northern Ireland, Cyprus and Bosnia.
