Kathryn Montefusco – Swimming & Diving

Villanova Career: Has competed in in three Championship Finals on the BIG EAST Championships.

2024-25: Saw season-bests within the 100 Breast (1:04.67), 200 Breast (2:18.47), 200 IM (2:08.87) and 400 IM (4:25.51); BIG EAST Championships (2/24-27): Qualified for 2 Championship Finals with seventh place within the 200 Breast (2:18.47) and eighth within the 400 IM (4:25.51); WVU Invitational (11/20-22): Won the B Final within the 400 IM (4:27.49); Penn (11/6): Helped the C workforce to a third-place end within the 200 Free Relay (1:41.43).

2023-24: Posted season-highs in 100 Breast (1:04.45), 200 Breast (2:19.26), 200 IM (2:08.09) and 400 IM (4:22.67) … Recorded 4 top-three swims throughout the season, together with one win; BIG EAST Championships (2/28-3/2): Made the Championship Final within the 200 Breast, ending seventh (2:19.26); Penn State (2/3): Touched third within the 200 Breast (2:26.66); Penn (11/8): Led the ‘Cats with a second-place end within the 200 Breast (2:22.86); La Salle (11/4): Won the 200 Breast (2:24.23); Georgetown (10/28): Paced Villanova with a third-place end within the 200 Breast (2:25.23).

Club Swimming: Five-year member of the lengthy Island Aquatic Club…. USA Swimming Scholastic All-American… USA Swimming Winter Junior Qualifier… NCSA Finalist.
