With the autumn semester formally underway, Welcome Week is again at Fresno State, giving college students an opportunity to get entangled on campus.
Here’s a listing of occasions occurring Aug. 25-29.
Aug. 25:
On Monday, college students are invited to Fresno State Get Involved’s Big Bulldog Welcome from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. within the Memorial Gardens, positioned in entrance of the Kennel Bookstore. This occasion will function free meals, music, giveaways and extra.
Aug. 26:
On Tuesday, college students can Fuel 4 Fall with free espresso supplied by Fresno City Councilmember Tyler Maxwell. This will happen from September 11 a.m. within the Memorial Gardens.
From 11 a.m.-1 p.m., college students can cease by the Student Health and Counseling Center’s open home to find out about assets accessible to them, pet remedy canine, tour the middle and revel in free shaved ice from Kona Ice.
Later within the day, college students can cease by Fresno State Get Involved’s Back to School Bowling Bash, that includes glow-in-the-dark bowling and billiards from 7-10 p.m. on the Bulldog Bowl.
Aug. 27:

To finish the day, there can be a Redwave Takeover at Dave & Buster’s from 6-10 p.m. There, college students can get a free $10 sport card, get pleasure from half-off video games, meals specials, prize drawings and extra.
Aug. 28:
On Thursday at 6:50 p.m., the Fresno Grizzlies will host Fresno State Night at Chukchansi Park in Downtown Fresno. Tickets are $8 and may be bought here.
Aug. 29:
Tunes at Noon will return this semester. This session will function music from DJ Nayte Joon from 12-1 p.m. within the USU pit.
To finish the week’s actions, college students can go to the Bulldog Cinema for a screening of “How to Train Your Dragon” at 8:15 p.m. on the Resnick Student Union south garden.
