Millie Bobby Brown and Husband Jake Bongiovi Undertake First Baby

Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi have welcomed their first little one.

The Stranger Things star introduced the shock information on Instagram Thursday morning by posting, “This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy.”

The younger couple — Brown is 21 whereas Bongiovi is 23 — secretly wed in May 2024, after having been collectively since 2021. (Brown’s Stranger Things co-star Matthew Modine officiated the marriage.) In an interview on the Smartless podcast, Brown talked about eager to have a household and the way her personal mother and father began younger as nicely. Similarly, Bongiovi’s mother and father, iconic rocker Jon Bon Jovi and spouse Dorothea Hurley, have been highschool sweethearts who married younger.

“My mom actually had her first child at 21, and my dad was 19,” she defined whereas selling her Netflix movie Electric State. “It’s been my thing since before I met Jake. Since I was a baby, I told my mom, like, baby dolls. I wanted to be a mom just like the way my mom was to me.”

She continued: “My thing was, I really want a family. I really want a big family. I’m one of four. He’s one of four. It is definitely in our future. But, for me, I don’t see having your own child as really any different as in adopting.”

In a canopy story for Vanity Fair, Brown stated that she and her husband talked by means of parenthood earlier than tying the knot. “We talked about our political views, what kind of family we want to build, the kind of home we want to live in, the kind of relationship we’re looking for, the kind of careers we want. It’s such an important decision, and we wanted to make sure we were making the right one. I knew I was. It always felt right with him.”

Along with adjusting to life with a brand new child, Brown has a busy fall lined up. She’ll subsequent star within the remaining season of Netflix’s Stranger Things, which debuts in two elements, on Nov. 26 and Dec. 25. During the summer time, she wrapped the streamer’s Enola Holmes 3 and signed on to star reverse Netflix’s Just Picture It.
