Ole Miss soccer coach Lane Kiffin makes enjoyable of Brian Kelly’s dancing

OXFORD — After poking enjoyable at Auburn coach Hugh Freeze within the offseason, Ole Miss soccer coach Lane Kiffin directed his newest social media antics at LSU coach Brian Kelly.

As Ole Miss and LSU prepare to start out the season, Kiffin poked enjoyable at Kelly in a brief change on X on Aug. 25. It began with a video clip of Kelly being interviewed on “The Paul Finebaum Show.”

Finebaum and Kelly mentioned how LSU was portrayed in Netflix’s “SEC Football: Any Given Saturday” documentary. Kiffin was one of the coaches who declined to have his team featured in the series.

Kelly’s father was featured in the show during a meal. Speaking about Ole Miss‘ 2024 team that was loaded with future NFL talent, Kelly’s father said, “Ole Miss might win all of it.”

“I informed him he isn’t invited to any extra video games as a result of he loves Lane Kiffin greater than he loves me,” Kelly told Finebaum. “And who might.”

The Paul Finebaum X account shared the video. Kiffin quickly responded.

“Sorry BK perhaps it was your dancing whenever you misplaced him,” Kiffin said on X.

The dancing Kiffin is referring to is a viral clip of Kelly from a recruiting visit. Kelly posed with tight end recruit Danny Lewis on a rotating platform. Some fans thought Kelly looked odd while doing it. Lewis eventually signed with Alabama.

Kiffin previously made headlines for joking about Freeze’s golf game during SEC media days on July 14. Freeze was under scrutiny on social media for playing, according to some disgruntled fans, too much golf. Kiffin alluded to that and sent him photos on X of Kiffin fishing on vacation.
