A photographer who interrupted play for almost seven minutes by stepping on the courtroom at Louis Armstrong Stadium in the midst of a US Open first-round match between Daniil Medvedev and Benjamin Bonzi had his credential revoked for the rest of the match, the USTA introduced within the early hours of Monday morning.

As Bonzi was serving at match level — main 6-3, 7-5, 5-4 — a photographer entered the courtroom for an unknown purpose, which led the chair umpire Greg Allensworth to name for time on the courtroom.
