America East Declares Cross Country Preseason Polls

BOSTON – Preseason polls for America East Men’s and Women’s Cross Country had been introduced Tuesday. Both Vermont groups had been voted sixth with the lads accumulating 34 factors and the ladies 32.

Voting was performed by the league’s head coaches, who weren’t allowed to vote for their very own groups. Reigning America East Champions New Hampshire had been picked as favorites within the ladies’s ballot accumulating six first-place votes and 62 factors. Bryant (50 factors), Binghamton (48 factors), and UMass Lowell (47 factors) all acquired one first place vote. Maine was chosen fifth with 37 factors adopted by Vermont in sixth, Bryant in seventh, UAlbany in eighth and NJIT in ninth. 
 
The UMass Lowell males received their fifth consecutive America East title in 2024 and acquired all eight attainable first place votes, coming into the 2025 fall as favorites.
