The Government of Canada is investing greater than $470,000 over two years to assist the opening of the Moose Jaw Little Oak Child and Youth Justice Centre and to broaden the Victim Services Responder program. These investments, supplied in partnership with the provincial authorities, will assist create secure, child-friendly areas and trauma-informed providers for youngsters and youth who’re victims of abuse, so kids, youth and households are supported all through their therapeutic journey.

  • This is the third centre that the federal and provincial governments are supporting in Saskatchewan, with CYACs additionally in Regina and Saskatoon. A fourth CYAC in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan is in operation. However, it’s not funded via Justice Canada’s CAC/CYAC Initiative.
