Bonnies Add Italian Heart Andrew Osasuyi to 2025 Roster

ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – Just over a month after successful the 2025 FIBA U20 EuroBasket Gold Medal, Italian middle Andrew Osasuyi has signed his letter of intent to affix the St. Bonaventure males’s basketball program for the 2025-26 season.

The 19-year-old averaged 7.6 factors, 7.9 rebounds and 1.6 assists over seven video games in EuroBasket play with Italy. He posted a double-double (13 factors, 12 rebounds) in a spherical of 16 win over Iceland (July 16) and lifted Italy to a championship win over Lithuania (July 20) with 9 factors, 9 rebounds and two assists.

In 2024-25, Osasuyi averaged a double-double over seven video games with Scafati within the Italy-NextGen Cup. His 10.3 rebounds per recreation ranked fifth within the league. Against Cremona, the Magenta native posted 19 factors and a season-high 18 rebounds to go together with two blocks and three steals.

Osasuyi joins Achille Lonati (Italy) and Ilia Ermakov (Russia) because the third European participant on the Bonnies’ roster. He turns into the sixth worldwide participant to affix St. Bonaventure this offseason alongside Canada natives Frank Mitchell, John Ikpotokin and Brayden Jackson.
