Cross Country to Journey North for UVU Invitational

CEDAR CITY, Utah – The Southern Utah University males’s and ladies’s cross nation groups will open their season in Orem, Utah on the Wolverine Cross Country Invitational on Friday, Aug. 29. Although this system intends to coach by this primary meet, it can mark the primary race of a number of new Thunderbird collegiate careers.

UVU Invitational

The weekend race will pit Southern Utah in opposition to the rival Utah Valley University Wolverines in an early-season matchup. In the 2024 Western Athletic Conference Championships, the Thunderbird males pushed previous UVU for a second place end, whereas the UVU ladies earned the title of reigning WAC champions. The two Utah colleges will probably be in competitors all through this season as properly.

The three-mile race course will characteristic three loops at Sclera Park. The ladies’s race begins at 10:00 a.m. and the lads’s race begins at 10:45 a.m.
