End of Summer Bash brings meals, enjoyable and fireworks to Grand Lake

Grand Lake is closing out summer season with its annual End of Summer Bash, providing a full weekend of family-friendly enjoyable on the Bernice Area at Grand Lake State Park.

The three-day celebration, held Saturday, Aug. 30 via Monday, Sept. 1, will characteristic video games, meals, guided hikes and a fireworks present. Admission is free.

A household weekend on the lake

The occasion kicks off every day with naturalist-led hikes at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Visitors can discover the paths across the Bernice Nature Center whereas studying concerning the lake’s ecology from park rangers.

Games, meals and actions for all ages

Families can get pleasure from area video games, youngsters’ craft workshops and neighborhood potluck dinners beneath the pavilion. Guests are inspired to convey a dish to share.

The spotlight of the weekend is the free fireworks show on Sunday, Aug. 31, starting at nightfall over the waters of Grand Lake.
