Three Terps Named to Big Ten Watch List

College Park, MD – Maryland area hockey gamers Josie Hollamon, Ella Gaitan, and Alyssa Klebasko have been named to the Big Ten Players to Watch List, as introduced by the convention on Wednesday.
 
Hollamon returns to College Park for her third season after representing the United States on the Women’s National Team within the Pan American Cup and earned a silver medal. The 2024 Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year appeared in all 20 video games, beginning each. Hollamon recorded 16 factors final season with 5 targets and 6 assists.

Gaitan was a member of the 2024 U.S. U21 Women’s National Team. She had a stellar freshman yr final season, incomes Big Ten All-Second Team and All-Freshman Team honors. She appeared and began in all 20 video games, recording 9 targets and three assists.

 

Klebasko is again in purpose for the Terps this season, as she returns from taking part in within the Junior Pan American Cup with the U.S. U21 Women’s National Team. She represented the U.S. because the flag bearer within the opening ceremony and introduced dwelling a silver medal. Last season, Klebasko tallied virtually 1200 minutes in purpose making 54 saves. She earned All-Big Ten Second Team honors.

Maryland area hockey begins their season on Friday, August 29 as they face Stanford for sport one of many Conference Cup. Play begins at midday and could be streamed on Big Ten Plus. The Terrapins may even face off in opposition to Villanova on Sunday, August 31 at 2:00 p.m.
