Coyotes set to open 2025 slate at Southern Hills Collegiate Cup

HOT SPRINGS, S.D. – South Dakota triathlon is able to open its season within the Black Hills of South Dakota but once more this fall, competing on the Southern Hills Collegiate Cup Saturday morning on the Angostura Recreaction Area in Hot Springs.
 
RACE DETAILS
Saturday’s race is scheduled to beign at 8:15 a.m. Central (7:15 a.m. Mountain Time) and is a brilliant dash occasion. An excellent dash is a 375-meter swim, 10-kilometer bike, and a 2.5 kileometer run.
 
The Yotes are one in every of 5 NCAA Division I groups ranked within the high 10 of the preseason CTCA Coaches’ Poll. Arizona and Arizona State, the 2 squads ranked in a tie for first in Division I, will each be within the Black Hills for Saturday’s race. USD ranks No. 8 within the preseason ballot.
 
THE COYOTES
South Dakota returns three of their high 5 scorers from final season’s Division I championship, together with high finisher of Alexa Magallon. All six Yotes competing Saturday are returners, graduate pupil Franziska Neck and senior Chelsea Webber. Webber joined the YoteCast this week to speak with John Thayer about her summer season and the upcoming fall season.
