Western Michigan golf begins fall season at A-Ga-Ming Invitational

KEWADIN, Mich. — The Western Michigan University golf staff begins the brand new season simply three hours north from campus.

The Broncos open the 2025 fall season on Sunday, Aug. 31 on the A-Ga-Ming Invitational hosted by Central Michigan on the A-Ga-Ming Golf Resort. The first spherical of 36 holes for WMU begins at 9:00 a.m. together with 10 different groups. Also competing within the Invitational on Sunday and Monday are hosts Central Michigan, fellow Mid-American Conference groups Bowling Green and Ohio, together with Oakland, Loyola-Chicago, Detroit Mercy, Bellarmine, Green Bay, Bradley, and Chicago State.

Western Michigan could have two groups competing within the first event of the season. The Broncos first staff consists of returners Megha Vallabhaneni, Macy Beeson, Lauren Lupinek, and Jenna Hayes, together with freshman Danielle Daniy. WMU’s second staff is returners Bella Brooks, Kailey White, and Saanvi Venkatesh and freshman Lea Lemieux. Both groups will start their event with 9:00 a.m. tee instances.

Teams will play a complete of 54 holes throughout the 2 days with 36 holes on Sunday with 18 holes on Monday.
