Forged introduced for brand new BBC authorized drama Counsels set in Glasgow

The BBC has introduced the solid for its new authorized drama Counsels, which is about in Glasgow.

The eight-part sequence stars Brandon Grace, Ro Kumar, Eilidh Park, George Prentice, Alyth Ross and Rebecca Bell, who all play younger attorneys attempting to navigate their complicated and messy lives at a time when their careers flip critical.

Having educated collectively at an elite legislation college, the characters at the moment are scattered throughout the career and discover themselves dealing with one another in courtroom.

It was created by Scottish writers Bryan Elsley – who co-created the E4 drama Skins – and Gillian McCormack, a graduate of the BBC Writers’ Drama Room.

Elsley, who additionally wrote the BBC adaptation of Iain Banks’ The Crow Road, mentioned he was delighted to be main the sequence with McCormack.

“Set fully in Glasgow, we hope to carry the town vividly to life and fill it with arresting tales and characters.”
