No. 25 Girls’s Golf Opens 2025-26 Season in Japan Wednesday

LOS ANGELES – The No. 25 UCLA girls’s golf staff opens the 2025-26 season on Wednesday, Sept. 3 on the Pan Pacific University Golf Super League Tournament hosted at Grand Fields Country Club in Mishima, Japan.

The three-day, 54-hole stroke play match concluding on Friday, Sept. 5 will function universities from across the globe.

“Our Bruins are feeling good and excited to kick off our season at the Pan Pacific University Golf Super League Tournament,” stated UCLA head coach Alicia Um Holmes, who enters her third 12 months main this system. “The organizers graciously provided us with three individual spots, and we are traveling our entire roster. We’ve spent the last few days in Tokyo acclimating to the time zone while experiencing the Japanese culture. It’s been a great way for our girls to bond together and make once-in-a-lifetime memories.”

2024-25 in Review
UCLA superior to its thirty fifth NCAA Championships after finishing an unlikely postseason run in 2024-25. The Bruins exacted a seventh-place end at their first-ever Big Ten Championship to qualify for the NCAA Tournament with a .500 profitable proportion (65-64-1).
