Assistant Coach, Males’s and Girls’s Swimming | Human Resources

Specific Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Coach with all features of a profitable sports activities program, together with however not restricted to:
• Prepare, schedule and set up every day observe periods, recreation preparation for competitors and low season coaching;
• Recruiting of potential student-athletes in accordance with the NCAA, Centennial Conference, and Ursinus College insurance policies and procedures;
• Provide common advising, mentoring and help to student-athletes;
• Engage in common session with athletic coaching personnel to maximise the protection and wellness of student-athletes;
• Demonstrate concern for the general welfare of pupil athletes always;
• Engage in moral decision-making and excellent sportsmanship;
• Execute all of those duties in a way that displays an ongoing dedication to the excellence, integrity and success of the swimming program, of the Department of Athletics, and Ursinus College
• Additional sport particular duties associated to student-athlete and facility security

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s diploma required
• Knowledge of guidelines and methods of the precise sport
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Excellent organizational and planning potential
• Knowledge of NCAA Division III and Centennial Conference guidelines and rules
