Authorities within the North West are set to obtain a £9.3m funding enhance to assist help transport routes within the space.
Lancashire Combined County Authority will get £7.6m whereas Cheshire West and Chester Authority will obtain £1.7m underneath the Local Transport Grant – a pot of presidency funding given to areas exterior the UK’s main cities to be spent on transport.
The cash might be used to purchase zero emission buses, enhance accessibility, scale back congestion or spend money on cycle lanes.
