Sept. 4, 2025 – Muscoot Farm, Westchester County’s cherished early-1900s interpretive farm, is celebrating its fiftieth anniversary with a two-day festival full of family-oriented actions, dwell music, demonstrations and loads of farm enjoyable on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 13 and 14.

For half a century, Muscoot Farm has been a beloved vacation spot the place children, households, and adults can expertise the traditions of farm life, meet animals up shut and revel in year-round academic applications. Now, the group is invited to have a good time its golden anniversary with hayrides, music, storytelling and extra.

Commissioner of the Westchester County Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation Kathy O’Connor stated: “From school field trips to weekend hayrides, Muscoot has touched countless lives over the last five decades. This anniversary is a testament to the farm’s enduring role in Westchester County and the surrounding area.”

Additional weekend actions will embody an unique animal presentation, cookie portray, fowl stroll with Anne Swaim of the Saw Mill River Audubon, blacksmithing demos, falconry with James Eyring, and dwell music taking part in all weekend lengthy. The weekly Farmers Market shall be open on Sunday, Sept. 14 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Muscoot’s beloved animals shall be available for all to go to.
