Blue River Festival affords enjoyable and an opportunity to offer again to the neighborhood this weekend

The Blue River Watershed Group will host a three-day occasion this weekend, full with a launch occasion, cleanup day and post-cleanup occasion.

The Blue River Festival begins Friday, Sept. 5, at 5:30 p.m. with the launch occasion on the Patagonia retailer in Breckenridge. After a contented hour, audio system from the Nature Conservancy and Colorado Parks and Wildlife will give shows, and the group will maintain a silent public sale.

Volunteers will unfold out alongside the Blue River and its tributaries Saturday, Sept. 6, from 10-11:30 a.m. to select up trash. They will obtain a free lunch on the Frisco Marina at 11:45 a.m., and volunteering enters them in a prize drawing.

To shut out the weekend, the group will host a volunteer occasion from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7.
